Dentist

Carlos L. Benavides D., D.D.S.

Dr. Benavides grew up in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico and Douglas, Arizona. The son of a dentist, he had the opportunity to see the transformative power of dentistry from an early age.

Dr. Benavides knew he wanted to enter health care when he got older, but it wasn’t until he interviewed his father and a number of other dentists that he discovered dentistry was his true passion.

Dr. Benavides earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Physiology from the University of Arizona, and he went on to study dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. Dr. Benavides worked as an associate for 6 years after graduating, honing his expertise and discovering what his own philosophy of care is. Now, with the opening of Buena Vida Dental Studio, he is able to provide the high-quality, thorough, and conservative care that he believes all patients deserve.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Benavides enjoys staying active by using his home gym and taking his dogs off-roading in his Jeep. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and listening to live music.

Chloe Fowler-Chavez

Hi there, I’m Chloe. I was born and raised right here in Tucson, Arizona! I started my career in dentistry in 2010 as a clinical assistant. As my skill set grew, I found that my calling was in the administrative aspect of the dental office.

My passion lies in developing a trusting relationship with our clients and managerial-administrative functions. Getting to know my patients and providing the upmost care is my number one priority!

When I’m not in the office, I’m likely cheering on my daughter at her volleyball games or yelling from the stands at my son’s basketball/baseball games! My husband Jim and I are living out our farm dreams, we have two dogs Darth and Darla, and two goats Bob and Jet! Stay tuned for the next addition!

Erika Haro

Hi, my name is Erika, and I am a mother/bonus mom to three wonderful kiddos: Amari, Lincoln, and Manny. In addition, I am a Fiancé & Pet mom. I was born and raised here in Tucson, but I am always learning new things about the desert or discovering new places to explore or dine.

When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandparents. Other favorite pastimes are going to U of A Baseball games and hunting for deals at Goodwill. Here at Buena Vida Dental Studio, I am one of the Business Assistants. I enjoy greeting patients as they arrive at the office and educating them on the wide array of services we offer. We are here to support you and your overall health and help you achieve your dental goals!
